 Our lives reflect who we are and how we think. They show how the surrounding world views us, what we do and how we react when facing obstacles. No one has the power to force us into one lifestyle or another, but we have the ability to choose. The Christian Youth Centre “Alpha and Omega” was organized in the city of Shostka in 2005. We are not a church but rather a non-denominational Christian organization. Here, everyone can find his or her calling! Why “Alpha and Omega”? Jesus Christ called himself the Alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. He alone is the centre of our lives. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Our goal lies in this, that we praise the greatness of God, that we find people who need support and help them find their meaning in life, that we come to know more and more about our Lord. Our efforts are set on working with the youth of the city in order to offer an alternative to leading a life focused on today by living a life focused on tomorrow. So what can we offer?
