The show "Soldiers" has taken a break...

On the 11th of April, the Lord blessed us with good weather and…

A collection of musical instruments and props, “Alpha and Omega” represented by Nikolay Slobodyanyuk, his wife Anna, Aleksey Navrotskiy, the music band X-Press, “Alpha and Omega” Theatre Studio, Anna Maksimova, Ekaterina Bovshik, Vadim Mironenko and Nina Alekseyeva, all travelled to the War Area (Army training area) of Dnepropetrovsk Region where our brother and friend, Vitaliy Onishuk, serves.

They met us there with joy! All the soldiers dropped everything they were doing immediately in order to help our guys set up the equipment and speakers. We told the guys in the army about God and about how he loves each one of us. At the end of our presentation, we gave them Christian books and left something sweet to remind them of our visit – Happy Milk (sweetened milk)! Although, personally, I doubt that this ‘reminder’ will last long! :)

On Sunday at service S. V. Bokoch came to visit (District bishop of Baptist Churches in the Dnepropetrovsk region). Anatoliy Mikhaylovich shared a very interesting sermon, reminding us once more that we must lean on the Lord, do what is right and hold on to the truth.

This coming Friday (Ap. 20) at Alpha and Omega at 6:30pm our Good Friday service will be based on “The last 7 phrases of Christ”. We will remember once again the suffering which Christ took in our place. This will also be a time of reading God’s Word, praying and worshiping God. On Sunday at 2:00pm We will have our celebratory Easter service. We look forward to seeing you there!
